The University of New Hampshire Leadership Series was a 2023-2024 Systems Change in Inclusive Health Subgrant recipient.
Through the Leadership Series, a Nutrition Action Campaign conducted a root cause analysis and identified access to affordable housing options near food sources as a driving factor in the difficulty of accessing nutritious and affordable food options. Eight individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) joined regional food councils and provided education on the link between food access and housing.
