The National Fitness Foundation (NFF) is the official nonprofit of the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition, pioneering forward-thinking strategies that enhance youth fitness and provide children with the ability, confidence, and desire to live active lives.
Under the Special Olympics Inclusive Health Innovation Grant program, supported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, NFF collaborated with Health Resources in Action to develop resources that provide physical educators nationwide with instructional strategies to include students with intellectual disabilities in the fitness education process.
